![]() ![]() I would appreciate any help! I do want to like the gun more than i do, its a good shooter, the small issues i have just kinda turn me off of it compared to my Mak. The pistol is a double action/single action design, meaning that the first shot is a heavy double action and each subsequent shot is a short single action pull. It was designed for the Czechoslovakian military when the Soviet Union standardized to the 9x18mm round. The other issue i have is actually with the grips/magazine well, i noticed after i got it that the grips were not tightened very well and were slightly wobbly, so I tightened them and realized after that you cannot put the magazine in or even eject it without force, I have to back the screws out to where the grips are almost wobbly again. The CZ-82 is a compact pistol chambered in 9mm Makarov, or 9x18mm. So the first problem is the magazine release button is hard to press sometimes from either side, the right side being harder to push in, i know its in an awkward spot but i have to actively press the button quite firmly to get the magazine to release, i have took the grips off and oiled the little scissor looking release that moves when you press the button, have also cleaned at it with a brush. I was expecting to like it as much as my makarov from what i have heard before but i have a couple of issues i dislike about it, i was hoping to maybe get some help on it. Hey all, i got a cz-82 about a month ago to add an addition on top of my makarov.
